Just Add Ink 51 - Monochrome

Quick post here to show my entry to JAI Challenge 51. I love colours so this was a definite challenge. To make it even more interesting - to me, at least - I decided to use yellow - a colour I hardly ever use. Yep, I fought the urge to go for cream/ivory.

Well, here it is. Lots of texture and inking. The background was spritzed with perfect pearls mist for a water-coloury effect and, of course, a bit of glimmer - as most say, this effect just doesn't photograph well. The flower was stamped as well.  All products by Stampin Up unless otherwise stated.

cardstock: Daffodil Delight
paper: various Daffodil Delight DSP
stamps: French Filligree, Artistic Etchings
punches: Scallop Trim corner punch, 3/4 inch circle, Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet, EK success butterfly
other: Basic Pearls, Perfect Pearls mist, Kaisercraft paper flower

The centre of the flower is actually a cut-out from an embossed strip of cardstock (Cuttlebug). I thought it looked better this way.

That's it. Thanks for stopping by.
